Another Quarter, Another Lesson To Learn

All of us expect that second quarter is much harder than the first grading. But look we are near to third quarter.      Second quarter is much better than the first quarter. We was able to learn HTML Tags and Internet Access. There are many circumstances that I was able to face, just like where to put tags but our teacher makes it easier for me to understand all the things. I know that new problem comes out with many lessons to learn and knowledge to share with others.      I hope that the third quarter will be more challenging than the first two. And I want to thank our teacher she help us to understand HTML Tags. I will not forget this lesson and I will apply in the future. And I hope that third quarter will be good to me.

Over the past years, the Philippines have encountered numerous calamities capable of destroying the citizen's hope.  Typhoon Haiyan is a great example of these calamities that swept the Visayas region, specifically in Tacloban. Another is the 7.2 magnitude earthquake that struck the provinces of Bohol. However, despite these destructice phenomenons, the Filipinos remains resilient and strong. I'm already in the grade 10 level of this year, and I can say that the first quarter was a memorable experience, and there were lots of new knowledge that we have learned and was inherited to our minds. Time was moving so fast, that I didn't notice, 2 months already has passed. It was my first time entering the world of Blogs. At first, I didn't know what to do, since it was my first time, but as time goes on, I learned how to use it. I didn't know what good does blogging do to us, but due to the continuous posting of ideas in our blogs, I suddenly noticed that my grammar was improving a little bit, and my vocabularies have been extended. Blogging surely is helpful to us. The "Internet" was also a part of our lesson. It was great having the opportunity to know everything about it. How does it work, how did it start, who started it, and other details about the internet. I am very lucky that I had the chance to learn about these things, because sooner or lat

Image

SONA2018: Full of Surprises

The 3rd State of the Nation Address of the President was delivered last July 23, 2018 at Batasang Pambansa Complex in Quezon City. And the speech is all about of his achievements, the current situation and his upcoming plans for the Philippines. The speech of the President describe drugs as a real threat in our society. One iconic line caught our attention. The line was "Your concern is human rights, mine is human lives" this is in connection about illegal drugs. Some lives of our youth and families are being destroyed because of illegal drugs.        This year's SONA is different from the other SONA of the former president in the Philippines because of the sincerity in every word he expressed. The speech is not full of commitment. It's full of hope, a hope that one day the Philippines will be purify from corruption especially on drugs. We citizens should support the President in this problem. We should change now and we will start it in ourselves to achieve a p

Nutrition Month 2018

Image
Many people of today's generation has been already eaten by gadgets. They neglect their own health and let their lives be ruled with personal computers, phones and others. Our health was more important, but we couldn't help ourselves. Gadgets there, gadgets everywhere. In today's generation, planting is not a thing anymore. It feels like, as time passes by, lesser and lesser people  are into planting. Instead of eating fresh fruits and vegetables, we let ourselves consume fast-food and ready-to-eat meals that full of chemicals. That is just not the way to treat ourselves.               July 2018. Nutrition month is celebrated with the theme "Ugaliing Magtanim Sapat na Nutrisyon Aanihin." Planting is the way to harvest good nutrition. The importance of vegetables and fruits is to give nutrition in our body. Family gardening can help us to improve healthy foods for Filipinos. It is a big help to us, to gain more nutrients, it can be also a source of inc

Letter to the President of the Philippines Mr. Rodrigo R. Duterte

His Excellency Rodrigo Roa Duterte President- Republic of the Philippines Malacanang Palace, Manila Dear Mr. President,          A pleasant day to you!   I am Charlotte Patubo and I am studying at Ilocos Sur National High School. I am writing because I would like to give my opinions and thoughts about your projects.  More than a year had passed a lot of things has changed. Since your main project from the start was on the War on Drugs. I think it was a very good start for this country. However, some people are scared, threaten, mad and disagreeing about your project. Apparently because from drug operations, thousands of lives have been taken. So I think that you should continue this war but not in a bloody way. Two years more presidency, and we are hoping that your era will always be remembered. We Filipinos trust you and we will wait for your upcoming projects that will turn the Philippines into prosperity. Sincerely Yours, Charlotte P. Patubo Ilocos Sur National High
